Properties

Pure substance is white crystal,  stream pressure<10-7 Pa(20C)，relatively density 1.74 (20C),flash point >100C.It dissolved in carbon bisulfide and pyridine, insoluble in mass organically impregnant, it is unstable to light, heat and moisture.

Usage

Zineb is a kind of protective broad-spectrum organic sulphur fungicide. Used to control downy mildew, black spot, anthracnose, leaf mole of vegetables etc; leaf spot of peanut, downy mildew, rot flower, black rot, leaf spot, black small pox of fruit tree; the rust and red mild of wheat; black root and leaf-blight of corn; anthracnose of tea; black spot of rose flower blight and leaf spot of azalea and grape; many diseases of pseuo-ginseng and  ginseng; epidemic scad and tar spot of potato; anthracnose and damping off of tobacco etc.

It’s also widely used  as algaecide for producing antifouling marine paint.
