Applications of Methane Standard Gas

1-50 ppm, 50-2000 ppm, 2000 ppm - percentage level, configured according to customer needs. Can prepare multi-component standard gases including 2 to 20 components such as methane, ethane, ethylene, propylene, etc.

Methane standard gas is mainly used for calibration and detection of petrochemical process control instruments, quality control of petrochemical products, environmental pollutant detection, automotive exhaust emission detection, various factory exhaust gas detection, calibration of mine alarms, medical instrument verification, power system transformer oil quality testing, air separation product quality control, calibration of traffic safety detection instruments, geological exploration and seismic monitoring, metallurgical analysis, gas appliance testing and calorific value analysis, calibration of instruments in the fertilizer industry, etc.

Usage Precautions

Bottled gas products are high-pressure filled gases and must be reduced in pressure before use. All gas cylinders have a specified service life; expired cylinders must be sent to authorized departments for safety inspection before continued use. When the gas is nearly depleted, maintain a residual pressure of 0.5 MPa in the cylinder, with a minimum of 0.25 MPa residual pressure. Close the cylinder valve to ensure gas quality and usage safety. During transportation, storage, and use, bottled gas products should be classified and stacked separately. Flammable gases and oxidizing gases must not be stored together. Keep away from open flames and heat sources. Avoid fire, oil, grease, direct sunlight, heavy impact, and collisions. Do not strike an arc on the gas cylinder, and avoid rough handling.
