Composite liquid mold silicone is typically a two-component addition-cure silicone material that can cure at room temperature or with heating. Below is its general usage method:

1. Preparation: Ensure the working environment is clean, and prepare the necessary tools and materials, such as liquid silicone, curing agent, mixer, vacuum machine, release agent, molds, etc. All tools must be clean to avoid impurities affecting the silicone's performance.
2. Mixing Ratio: Different models of composite liquid mold silicone have different mixing ratios, common ones being 1:1, 100:2 to 100:3, etc. For example, Hongfenghao Technology's liquid mold-making filling silicone requires mixing components A and B in a 1:1 weight ratio. After pouring components A and B into a container, use a mixer to stir thoroughly, ensuring the silicone at the bottom and sides of the container is fully mixed with the curing agent. When the color is uniform, mixing is complete.
3. Deaeration Treatment: Place the mixed compound into a vacuum machine for deaeration. The typical operation time is about 10-25 minutes. Deaeration is complete when no bubbles emerge from the surface.
4. Mold Treatment: Apply liquid paraffin or surfactants as a release agent on the surface of the model product or material that the silicone will contact to facilitate subsequent demolding. If making a split mold, prepare gauze or fiberglass cloth to enhance mold strength.
5. Pouring or Brushing: Choose the appropriate method based on the mold type. For a one-piece pouring mold, slowly pour the deaerated silicone into the enclosed model, shaking it occasionally to remove air. For a split mold, first brush a layer of silicone onto the model surface, wait about 30 minutes, apply a layer of gauze or fiberglass cloth, and then brush another layer of silicone.
6. Curing and Molding: Curing time depends on temperature. For example, with a 1:1 ratio silicone at 28°C room temperature and a 30-minute working time, it fully cures in 4-5 hours. If heated to 60-120°C, it can fully cure in about ten minutes.
7. Demolding Treatment: After curing is complete, carefully separate the mold from the model. If necessary, perform post-processing such as grinding and polishing to make the surface smoother.
