Product Introduction:

The HS711X low resistance backflow preventer consists of two check valves (front and rear) and an intermediate automatic drain valve. In the event of backflow, both check valves automatically close, and the drain valve opens, creating an atmospheric break in the intermediate chamber. If leakage occurs in either check valve, the system automatically drains to block backflow, strictly preventing contamination and protecting the water quality in the upstream pipeline.

Working Principle:

● Forward Flow:

When inlet pressure exceeds outlet pressure, both check valve discs open, and the drain valve closes. At a flow velocity of 2 m/s, the flow resistance loss is less than 0.04 MPa.

● Reverse Closure:

When inlet pressure is less than or equal to outlet pressure, both check valve discs close, and the drain valve opens.

If no debris is stuck, both check valve discs seal tightly, the drain outlet does not discharge, and the intermediate chamber communicates with the atmosphere, maintaining zero pressure.

● Backflow Contamination Prevention:

When inlet pressure is lower than outlet pressure, both check valve discs remain closed, and the drain valve is open. If debris causes leakage in one or both check valve discs, the leaked medium flows into the intermediate chamber and is discharged directly through the drain valve, preventing backflow contamination to the inlet side.
