A balancing valve is a special-function valve with excellent flow characteristics, featuring valve opening indicators, opening locking devices, and pressure measurement ports for flow determination. Using **intelligent instruments, input the valve model and opening value, and the flow rate through the balancing valve can be directly displayed based on the measured differential pressure signal. By installing appropriately sized balancing valves at each branch and user inlet and performing a one-time adjustment with **intelligent instruments, the flow rate for each user can be set to the desired value.

Balancing valves function under hydraulic conditions to achieve dynamic and static balance regulation. Examples include static balancing valves and dynamic balancing valves.

Static balancing valves, also known as manual balancing valves, digital locking balancing valves, or two-position regulating valves, adjust flow by changing the gap (opening) between the valve core and seat, thereby altering the flow resistance. Their purpose is to manage system resistance, ensuring that the new flow rate is distributed according to the design-calculated proportions.
