Introduction

The SEM110P temperature transmitter provides an industry-standard (4 to 20)mA transmission signal and can be installed in most DIN standard connectors. Alternative mounting options are available, allowing the transmitter to be installed on DIN rails or inside enclosures.

The SEM110P accepts Pt100 platinum resistance temperature sensors. It utilizes Pt100 sensors compliant with BS1904 or DIN43760 standards and converts the sensor temperature into a current between (4 and 20)mA.

The same two wires that power the transmitter also carry the current, requiring only two connection points. Additionally, the nature of the current provides excellent noise immunity, ensuring that line impedance, thermoelectric effects, etc., do not introduce errors.

Loop-powered
The instrument is powered by the loop current, eliminating the need for an additional power supply

Analog performance
The SEM110P employs proven and reliable analog design in both the input and output sections of the circuit. Since no analog-to-digital or digital-to-analog conversion is required during signal retransmission from the input monitoring, the response time is extremely fast and smooth.
As the SEM110P does not use microcontrollers or digital integrated circuits, it is suitable for applications where digital components must be avoided.
The SEM110P uses resistive potentiometers, allowing users to "fine-tune" the 4mA and 20mA range points for highest accuracy.
