Kestrel 5700 Applied Ballistics Advanced Weather Meter


Utilizes the Applied Ballistics bullet library with custom G1 drag models to precisely measure bullet drag, and corrects for aerodynamic changes, spin drift, Coriolis parameters, and drop scale factors, enabling accurate long-range shooting at extended distances.

Extended features include a custom range card and an expanded ballistic table, capable of storing up to 16 firearms and bullets, allowing users to create up to five targets.

Weather mode provides comprehensive environmental monitoring along with the storage and graphing functions of the Kestrel 5500 weather meter, including wind speed, wind direction, crosswind, temperature, humidity, pressure, and altitude.

Optional Bluetooth Smart-enabled LiNK connectivity offers wireless communication to mobile devices and computers, and can integrate with LiNK-compatible laser rangefinders to enhance speed and accuracy. (Note: LiNK dongle sold separately.)

The Kestrel LiNK Ballistics App for Android and iOS (coming soon!) provides comprehensive firearm management and allows access to the Applied Ballistics library of custom drag models for transmission to the Kestrel.

The Kestrel Applied Ballistics Advanced Weather Meter eliminates guesswork in long-range shooting, allowing for accurate measurements even in transonic and subsonic flight ranges of bullets.

This next-generation integrated weather meter and ballistic solver offers the same trusted accuracy, reliability, and usability as the older Kestrel Applied Ballistics 4500 model, but with many new features and options. If you are familiar with the Kestrel 4500, you will first notice the larger screen, higher resolution and contrast display, and improved font readability. The Kestrel 5 Series also includes a built-in dual-color backlight, an ultra-durable polycarbonate lens, support for AA battery operation, and optional LiNK connectivity for wireless communication and app support with iOS and Android devices. Like all Kestrel weather meters, the Advanced model is drop-proof, dust-proof, and waterproof, capable of withstanding harsh environments without damage. Thus, it can accompany you for the long haul in target shooting, hunting, competition, deployment, or engagement. Various carrying cases are available for enhanced portability.
