Long-Term Stability
The HMP155 is equipped with the time-tested Vaisala HUMICAP? sensor, offering excellent long-term stability and tolerance to harsh environments. The probe has a robust structure, and the sensor is protected with a sintered Teflon? filter, providing maximum protection against liquid water, dust, and dirt.

Heated Probe and High Humidity Environments
Reliably measuring humidity in environments near saturation is challenging, as measurements can be affected by fog, mist, rain, and heavy condensation. A wet probe may fail to accurately measure the surrounding environment.
Vaisala has specifically designed a patented heated probe for reliable measurements in such conditions. By continuously heating the sensor head, the internal humidity level remains lower than the ambient humidity, reducing the risk of condensation on the probe.

Fast Temperature Measurement
Additionally, the integrated temperature probe has a fast response time, making the HMP155 ideal for environments with frequent temperature changes. The new thin-film filter accelerates relative humidity measurements.

Long Service Life
Using a radiation shield to protect against solar radiation, direct sunlight, and precipitation can extend the product's service life. Therefore, Vaisala recommends installing the following radiation shields compatible with the HMP155: DTR503, DTR13, or a weather station enclosure.

Easy Maintenance
The probe is easy to calibrate using a PC and USB cable—simply press the button on the probe—or with the Vaisala MI70 Indicator.
