Field Micro-ohmmeter OM 16


The OM16 milliohmmeter/micro-ohmmeter is primarily designed as an outdoor instrument but is also used in workshops and maintenance departments.

Easy to use, it employs a DC current for measuring inductive and non-inductive resistances.

Its large interactive display informs the operator in real-time about the type of measurement, range, calculated environmental conditions (resistance calculated based on a reference temperature), threshold status, and values.

4-wire measurement for the highest accuracy

Automatic measurement in non-inductive resistance mode: automatic triggering when continuity is detected between two points, allowing a single operator to perform measurements.

Parasitic EMF can be measured before each measurement.

Constant measurement current for inductive loads (coils, transformers, motor windings).

DC measurement current for non-inductive resistances (ground connections, coating contact resistance) with automotive power supply current interruption.

Display of temperature-compensated resistance values.

Resistance is automatically calculated by the instrument considering: measured value, ambient temperature, metal temperature coefficient, reference temperature.

All parameters are programmable (ambient temperature can be programmed or measured via a temperature sensor).

Two programmable thresholds with LED indication and on-screen display, with audible or continuous beeping.

Memory: 1000 measurements identified by number. Stored readings can be viewed on the display, or via software or printer.
