The CALYS 1500 Dual Input Temperature Calibrator

The CALYS 1500 is the most advanced and accurate laboratory electrical calibrator in its series. It can function not only as a simulator (IN/OUT) but also as a dual-channel thermometer (IN/IN) for performing comparative calibrations. It calibrates HART transmitters (HART communicator) and thermistors. It is the perfect tool for advanced process maintenance and test bench applications across all industries. Suitable for all field and laboratory measurements, it can simultaneously measure and generate various signals for temperature, resistance, process, pressure, and frequency through two isolated channels in a single instrument. The CALYS 1500 offers extended features (temperature simulation, scaling, step, synthesizer, statistical functions, etc.) and audit trails compliant with 21 CFR Part 11 and NADCAP heat treatment standards, making advanced development and traceability easier. Calibration Procedures and DATACAL Software
With this user-friendly instrument, calibration tasks can be quickly performed across the entire process chain. Over a full week, take the process calibrator into the field with 10 calibration procedures stored in the device. Connect the probe to the instrument, run the procedure, and save the results for easy and fast on-site calibration. Back in the office, you can upload the data to a computer to issue customized calibration certificates using the dedicated DATACAL calibration software.

Graphical Screen and Display Resolution
The CALYS 1500 allows selection of digits after the decimal point: this feature is useful when users wish to display the best resolution of calibration or, conversely, limit it for simple verification. The CALYS 1500’s dual display permanently shows measured values, output values, meter functions, and active features. At the top, the date, time, and external temperature are also indicated. During measurement, the average, maximum, minimum, and number of measurements are displayed on the left. For output, this section of the screen shows all details of ramp, step, and constant value output functions. Drop-down menus, used with the navigator, provide online help to simplify probe and wire connections.
