First, prepare the calibration samples with known accurate results, number them, and prepare them for pressing into pellets.

1. After turning on the instrument, pull out the slide plate and press the Enter key. The preheating time will start counting down. Within 30 minutes of startup, enter the "Main Menu" program. On the display screen [3-2], the message "Preheating仍需 * * minutes" will appear at the bottom. After 30 minutes of preheating, this message will disappear, indicating that the instrument has completed preheating. If, 30 minutes after startup, you enter the "Main Menu" [3-2] screen and the message "Preheating 30 minutes" does not appear at the bottom, it also means the instrument has been preheated.

1. Startup interface: Click (3) System Settings and enter the password to proceed;

4. Input Chemical Content: Enter the content of the calibration data from low to high. This is for calculating the K and b values in the next step;

5. Calculate K and b Values: After inputting the chemical content, proceed to calculate the K and b values. Press 0 to return to the calibration interface →

Press 5 to calculate K and b values → Press to calculate K and b values → 1. Enter the working curve number 1 and press Enter.

Prompt: Press 2 to select the K and b value calculation item → Then press 1 for CaO → Press 0 to return → 3 K and b value calculation;

II. Content Measurement

1. After the instrument is calibrated, it can be used to measure the content of the samples to be tested.

2. Sampling Situation. At the very bottom of the display screen, the prompt messages "Sampling①②③④⑤" will also disappear. When the word "Sampling" appears, the sample slide plate must be fully pulled out so that the slide plate is in the reference sample measurement position. The lower left corner of the display will show "Reference Sample". Sampling can be completed in approximately 1.5 minutes.

3. Select the Correct Working Curve Number. Use the working curve number where the K and b values were input during calibration to accurately analyze the samples to be tested corresponding to the calibration samples. The working curve is displayed in the upper left corner of the screen, with a total of 1-9 curves. They cycle through by pressing the [ ] key repeatedly. Finally, select the working curve number where the K and b values were stored during calibration.

Note: After shutting down or a power outage, when the instrument is turned on again, it will be in the initial state with the working curve number set to 1. Pay special attention to whether the working curve number is selected correctly at this time.
