The pulverized coal conveying system in a steel plant (especially the blast furnace coal injection system) has extremely high requirements for the cleanliness of pulverized coal. The function of the pulverized coal filter directly affects the reliability of the entire system, specifically including:

   Subsequent equipment such as pulverized coal distributors and lances have precise structures (e.g., distributor branch pipe interfaces, lance nozzles). If impurities enter, they can easily cause blockages, leading to uneven coal injection, fluctuations in blast furnace conditions, or even forced shutdowns for cleaning. The filter can intercept impurities in advance, reducing equipment failure rates.

   If metal impurities become stuck in moving parts of the equipment (such as rotary valves) or clog pipelines, they may cause sudden local pressure increases, leading to pipeline ruptures, coal dust leaks, and other safety incidents.
