Stabilizing and increasing the coal injection rate is one of the effective ways to reduce costs in blast furnace ironmaking. The use of 2520 heat-resistant steel, wear-resistant, high-temperature blast furnace pulverized coal ceramic lances not only extends the service life of the lance itself but also creates conditions for protecting the tuyere and reducing blast furnace downtime. The PQ-2000 blast furnace pulverized coal lance is a specialized injection device used for blast furnace pulverized coal injection. It consists of components such as the lance tube, lance head jacket, porous lance head, and lance head cover, featuring a simple structure and convenient operation. Its main characteristic is that a porous lance head with uniformly distributed round holes is installed at the head of the pulverized coal lance tube, allowing the pulverized coal airflow to be divided into several fine pulverized coal streams through the porous lance head. During use, the lance is inserted into the furnace body from the end with the bayonet to begin operation. When the blast furnace requires coal injection, the lance can quickly and accurately inject pulverized coal to meet the production needs of the blast furnace. When the blast furnace stops coal injection, the ball in the ball valve of the lance automatically resets, ensuring that high-temperature gas inside the furnace does not leak out, thereby ensuring production safety. Although the PQ-type pulverized coal lance has high reliability and stability, abnormal damage may still occur in emergency situations. Due to the complexity of the causes, regular inspection and maintenance are required to ensure its normal operation.
