ST-1573A Bromine Value and Bromine Index Tester

Product Introduction:

     The ST-1573A Bromine Value and Bromine Index Tester is based on the microcoulometric principle and computer-controlled operation. It is an effective instrument for determining bromine value and bromine index in petrochemical process control analysis and product quality testing. Using the microcoulometric titration principle, samples are directly added to the titration cell, where bromine is generated through electrolysis and reacts with the substances consumed by the sample. After the reaction is complete, the electrolysis for bromine generation automatically stops. The computer calculates the bromine value and bromine index content of the sample based on the electricity consumed during bromine generation. The entire process, including measurement, electrolysis, and data processing, is computer-controlled. It is widely used for determining the bromine value and bromine index of petroleum products such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel, lubricating oil, and light and heavy aromatics.
