Its filling has undergone significant phased upgrades—from high-resilience foam, to foam with plush cotton, to foam with cushion and duck feathers, and now to foam with feather down. The current method involves adding a down layer to the seat cushion, backrest, and armrests to create a relaxed, comfortable feel. For example, approximately two-thirds of the armrests and backrest are filled with down, while the seat cushion contains about 12 cm of down filling.
