Botou Beizhong Cast Iron Workbench, also known as cast iron plate or cast iron platform, is suitable for various inspection tasks, serving as a reference plane for precision measurement. It is primarily used as a reference surface in the inspection and measurement of mechanical workpieces, checking dimensional accuracy or geometric deviations of parts, and can also be used for precision marking. It is an indispensable planar reference tool in mechanical manufacturing inspection.
The cast iron workbench is made of high-strength cast iron HT200-300, with a working surface hardness of HB170-240. After two artificial treatments (artificial annealing at 600-700 degrees or natural aging for 2-3 years), the product exhibits stable accuracy and excellent wear resistance.
Cast iron workbench accuracy: Complies with the national standard metrological verification regulations, divided into six grades: 00, 1, 2, 3, and fine planing.
Cast iron workbench specifications: 200*200--4000*9000mm (special specifications can be customized according to the buyer's drawings or mutually agreed upon for production and processing).
Usage of cast iron workbench: After wear and tear during use, the cast iron workbench can be re-scraped to restore its accuracy. The cast iron workbench can be used to inspect the flatness of parts using the coloring method, offering the advantages of accuracy, intuitiveness, and convenience. On a scraped cast iron workbench, pushing the gauge stand and workpiece is smooth without any sticking sensation, facilitating measurement and ensuring accuracy. The quality of cast iron and heat treatment of the cast iron plate significantly impact its performance: excessive residual internal stress may cause deformation of the working surface; poor wear resistance may prevent maintaining accuracy; or difficulty in scraping may result in inadequate surface roughness. Therefore, when using a cast iron workbench, attention must be paid to the selection of cast iron materials and methods such as aging treatment to eliminate residual stress in the cast iron plate.
The cast iron workbench can be customized in size and specifications according to customer requirements, with or without supporting brackets.
