Beizhong Cast Iron Assembly Platform, also known as Assembly Platform, T-slot Assembly Platform, Precision Assembly Plate, or Fitter Assembly Platform, features a scraped surface on its working face. The working surface can be machined with V-slots, T-slots, U-slots, round holes, long holes, etc., making it one of the primary tools for fitting work.
The cast iron assembly platform is mainly used for securing workpieces during fitting operations. It is an essential foundational platform for fitters to debug equipment, assemble devices, and perform maintenance tasks.
The cast iron assembly platform is manufactured using high-quality, high-strength gray cast iron such as HT200, HT250, HT300, or higher tensile strength ductile iron like QT400-10 and QT500-7. The working surface hardness ranges from HB170 to HB240. The assembly platform casting undergoes two artificial annealing processes at 600°C to 700°C to completely relieve internal stresses, ensuring stable accuracy and excellent wear resistance.
The basic process flow for the cast iron assembly platform is as follows:
1. Assembly Platform Rough Casting: Create technical drawings, produce wooden patterns based on the drawings, prepare materials, mold, dry, pour, shakeout, clean, and inspect various parts of the rough casting.
2. Assembly Platform Machining: Conduct visual inspection and marking, secure the workpiece on the machine tool, process, inspect, and temper.
3. Assembly Platform on Machine Tool: Process according to drawing requirements and send to the inspection department for verification.
4. Assembly Platform Surface Treatment: Paint, package, and store in the warehouse.
Typically, the service life of a cast iron assembly platform is very long. With proper usage and storage methods, the surface accuracy of the assembly platform can be maintained for two years or even longer. Therefore, correct usage and storage play a crucial role in extending the platform's lifespan.
