The North Heavy Supply marking workbench uses a certain line or surface on the workpiece as a reference to mark out the remaining dimension lines. On the marking workbench, such a line (or surface) is referred to as the marking datum.
The marking workbench is also known as: cast iron marking workbench, marking platform, marking plate, fitter marking platform. The material of the marking workbench is high-strength cast iron HT200-300, with a working surface hardness of HB170-240. After two artificial treatments (artificial annealing at 600°C-700°C and natural aging for 2-3 years), the product exhibits stable precision and excellent wear resistance.
The specifications of the marking workbench range from 100mm*100mm to 3000mm*6000mm.

A scribing tool is used to outline the contour lines of the areas to be processed or to mark reference points and lines on rough blanks or semi-finished products. In single or small batch production, marking is used to inspect the shape and dimensions of rough blanks or semi-finished products, reasonably distribute the machining allowances for each surface, detect defective products early, and avoid waste in subsequent processing. The marking datum should ideally align with the design datum. For rough blanks, the datum is generally selected as its axis or mounting surface.
Marking workbench: It is used by fitters to inspect workpieces and serves as a reference marking line for marking workpieces. The specific dimensions of the marking lines are determined by the user according to their application.
