Inadequate implementation of anti-rust management systems, failure to adopt effective anti-rust measures, or significant temperature fluctuations in workshops and warehouses can all lead to surface rust on cast iron plates. For example, if stored cast iron plates exceed the anti-rust period, are placed in damp and unclean environments during temporary suspension of use, or are padded with moisture-absorbent and non-breathable materials, they will rust due to moisture and dirt.
During the use of the cast iron scraping plate, avoid striking its working surface with hard tools to prevent affecting the precision of the cast iron plate's working surface. To avoid permanent deformation of the cast iron plate, after workpiece inspection or marking is completed, the workpiece should be removed and not left on the cast iron plate for extended periods. It is best to make a dedicated cover from wood. When not in use, cover the working surface with the cover to reduce maintenance time and extend the service life of the cast iron plate.
