Insulation diagnosis is an important means of detecting insulation defects or faults in electrical equipment. The insulation resistance tester (megohmmeter) is a specialized instrument for measuring insulation resistance. The JJG662-89 "Insulation Resistance Meter (Megohmmeter)" approved for implementation in May 1990 has designated it as a mandatory calibration instrument. Currently, electrical equipment (such as transformers, generators, etc.) is trending towards larger capacity, higher voltage, diverse structures, and sealed designs. This requires the insulation resistance tester itself to have characteristics such as large capacity, strong anti-interference capability, diverse measurement indicators, accurate measurement results, simple and rapid measurement process, and portability.
