Product Performance

Isocetane is a colorless, low-odor, low-toxicity, highly branched, high-purity isoparaffin.

Application Areas

Isocetane can be used as an industrial cleaning fluid (cleaning of metal products processing, machinery and machine parts, automotive manufacturing, electronic and electrical equipment, maintenance cleaning, blanket cleaning, fiber and leather degreasing/cleaning, and dry cleaning of clothing), metalworking fluid (rust preventive oil, casting fluid, stamping oil), solvent or thinner for decorative coatings (coatings for metal/plastic, wood coatings, marine coatings), solvent for consumer products (aerosol insecticide solvent, liquid sprayers), PVC viscosity reducer (PVC medical gloves, PVC wallpaper, adhesives), carrier for PVC stabilizers, and peroxide carrier.

Product Transportation

This product is a fast-volatile oil. Transportation must ensure safe delivery.

Usage Methods and Precautions

1. Strictly prohibit mixing or transporting with oxidizers, food chemicals, etc. During transportation, protect from exposure to sunlight, rain, and high temperatures.

2. Transport during early morning or evening in summer. Tank trucks used for transportation should have grounding chains, and baffles can be installed inside the tank to reduce static electricity from agitation. Transport vehicles should be equipped with appropriate types and quantities of firefighting equipment and leak emergency response devices. During stops, keep away from fire sources, heat, and high-temperature areas.

3. In winter, grounding must be used to release static electricity.
