Anritsu's BERTWave MP2100B is an all-in-one test instrument integrating BERT and a sampling oscilloscope for the research, development, and production of optical modules. It features a built-in 12.5 Gbit/s Pulse Pattern Generator (PPG) and Error Detector (ED) supporting up to 4 channels, while the integrated sampling oscilloscope supports electronic and optical bandwidths of 25 GHz and 9 GHz, respectively. With just one MP2100B, synchronous BER measurement and eye diagram analysis for up to 4 channels can be performed, making the testing of multi-channel optical modules such as QSFP+ more cost-effective. Additionally, the new fast sampling mode operates at speeds up to 150k samples per second, reducing eye diagram measurement time.
The high-quality signal output from the PPG has only 1ps of jitter and a Tr/Tf of just 24ps; the ED offers high minimum sensitivity of 10 mVp-p. As a result, the MP2100B is an ideal solution for the accurate evaluation of optical modules and devices.

7. Mask Margin Testing
Automated mask margin testing simplifies cumbersome procedures and setups, completing the required mask margin test measurements in about 1 second.
