Application Scope of Jet Aerator

The QSB deep-water self-priming submersible jet aerator can operate normally and continuously under the following conditions:

1. Medium temperature not exceeding 40°C;

2. Medium pH value between 5~9;

3. Medium density not exceeding 1150kg/m3

Technical Description of Du'an Environmental Protection QSB Jet Aerator:

The QSB submersible jet aerator consists of five parts: submersible pump, jet device, diffuser, air suction pipe, and hose. It integrates advanced diffuser technology based on traditional jet mechanisms and adopts the jet aeration method.

During operation, the pump impeller, driven by the submersible motor, rotates at high speed, pushing the mud-water mixture into the jet device to form a jet stream. A negative pressure zone is created around the jet, drawing air through the suction pipe into the jet nozzle's negative pressure area. In the throat of the jet device, air, water, and mud are fully mixed. The kinetic energy of the jet is gradually converted into pressure energy through the diffuser tube of the jet device before entering the diffuser. Inside the diffuser, the mixture of gas, water, and mud is further blended, forcing the gas to undergo continued shearing, crushing, and emulsification, ensuring that most of the oxygen is fully dissolved in the water. Simultaneously, under the pressure of the jet fluid, the jet carries oxygen molecules and micro-bubbles, spraying obliquely downward from the diffuser nozzle and dispersing. This impacts and stirs the water body and the sludge at the bottom of the biochemical tank, gradually rising from the tank bottom to the water surface. The micro-bubbles typically remain in the water for over 30 seconds, allowing full dissolution and absorption of oxygen from the air, thereby improving oxygen transfer efficiency and oxygenation capacity. This equipment generates high negative pressure and intense turbulence, mixing, and shearing within the jet device, promoting high-frequency oscillation of the liquid and gas films. This significantly reduces bubble diameter, increases the number of bubbles, enlarges the specific surface area of bubbles, and thins the gas-liquid film, greatly reducing mass transfer resistance and facilitating better transfer of oxygen molecules from the gas phase to the liquid phase. As the jet advances at high speed, it rotates rapidly within the disperser, possessing high angular velocity, which gives the jet strong penetration power. This allows micro-bubbles to travel far in the water, enhancing mixing, flow pushing, and oxygenation capabilities. Applicable for deep-water aeration, aeration and mixing in biochemical tanks, sludge aeration and mixing, and high-concentration organic wastewater treatment processes.

Precautions for Jiangsu Du'an Environmental Protection Jet Submersible Aerator Models

1. Do not lift the equipment directly by the cable or use the cable to lift other heavy objects. When moving or suspending the submersible aerator, use a hooked chain to connect to the shackle or lifting ring on the upper cover.
2. Never allow the cable end to be immersed in water.
3. All equipment casings should be reliably grounded to prevent electric shock accidents.
4. Due to the working principle, the maximum immersion depth should not exceed the specified value.
5. The submersible aerator should not be placed at the sewage inlet. If the base is placed on muddy or sandy ground, the aerator may sink due to vibration. In such cases, it is recommended to suspend the aerator or place it on a larger base plate.
6. When the temperature drops below 0°C, if the submersible aerator is operating normally, it can continue to be used. Otherwise, it should be lifted and placed in a ventilated, dry area, with attention to frost prevention.

1  The dedicated aeration pump base, pump casing, etc., are made of HT250 cast iron, offering certain corrosion resistance and ability to withstand impact loads.

2  The motor shaft of the dedicated aeration pump is made of 2Cr13 corrosion-resistant material, with structural design measures to eliminate stress concentration. 

3  Depending on the medium being pumped, the mechanical seal of the dedicated aeration pump can be made of silicon carbide/silicon carbide, tungsten carbide/tungsten carbide, or silicon carbide/tungsten carbide. The designed service life of the mechanical seal is over 12,000 hours. 

4  The bearings of the dedicated aeration pump are imported NSK bearings, with a cumulative designed operating life of over 40,000 hours. 

5 The static seal of the submersible jet aerator uses Nitrile-70 O-rings. 

6 All fasteners of the submersible jet aerator are made of stainless steel. 

7 The air inlet pipe of the submersible jet aerator is made of galvanized material. 

8 The nozzle material is cast iron. 

For submersible aerators using three-phase power, check the rotation direction upon initial startup or after each reinstallation. Incorrect rotation direction will reduce efficiency and damage the pump.
