【Product Overview】

The Rotary Pipe Cutter series is a line of cold-cutting tools produced by E-work for cutting large-diameter carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and ductile iron pipes. 【Product Operation】

1. Inspect the blade to ensure it is suitable for the type of pipe to be cut.

2. Ensure the bolted rod end is in the appropriate position for the pipe size to be cut. Evenly unscrew the turnbuckles until the distance between the center of the rod end eye and one end of the turnbuckle is approximately 57 mm (2 1/4 inches). Release the pins and fit the cutter snugly against the pipe. (If clearance around the pipe is extremely tight, you may need to release 2 pins.) Attach the release pins in place via the yoke section and rod end, positioning the spring-loaded guide part of the cutter over the pipe. Hand-tighten the two turnbuckles evenly until all four blade wheels contact the pipe. Tighten the turnbuckles by half a turn for every half rotation of the cutter. The turnbuckles can also be used to advance the cutter around the pipe.

3. Tighten the turnbuckles as much as possible while still being able to advance the cutter around the pipe. (If sufficient tension is provided, the handle lever can be easily tightened—about half a turn of the turnbuckle.)
