The promotion and use of semi-coke boilers have brought hope to manufacturers using coal-fired boilers. Our company, Shaanxi Weinan Fandel Boiler Factory, recognizing the significant demand in the environmental protection sector, leveraged the strong capabilities of our parent group and Fandel's unique technological R&D advantages to tackle technical challenges. Addressing issues such as low volatile matter in semi-coke, delayed ignition, and the presence of unburned carbon particles in the flue gas, we conducted in-depth research and continuous innovation based on existing chain grate boilers. We developed a complete set of semi-coke combustion technology, thoroughly resolving these problems, and created a new environmentally friendly semi-coke boiler, along with dust removal equipment specifically designed for semi-coke boiler characteristics. The rectification plan for coal-fired boilers above 20 tons, announced before October 31, 2016, includes four options: 1. Grid connection: Prioritize grid connection for boilers that meet the conditions. 2. Natural gas: Prioritize the use of natural gas where pipeline networks are available. 3. Add desulfurization and denitrification equipment: Install desulfurization and denitrification equipment without replacing the coal-fired boiler. 4. Semi-coke: Retrofit coal-fired boilers to use the clean energy—semi-coke. Industry experts suggest that among the four options, boilers eligible for grid connection should be prioritized for grid connection. For boilers ineligible for grid connection, retrofitting coal-fired boilers to semi-coke boilers will be the preferred choice. This approach significantly reduces equipment investment costs, greatly lowers boiler operating expenses, and fully complies with environmental emission standards. The semi-coke boiler features advanced design performance: The main heating surface tubes are made of 20# seamless steel pipes for low and medium-pressure boilers, the boiler drum is constructed from specialized boiler steel plates, and the left and right headers are made of seamless steel pipes. The boiler arch is formed with refractory concrete, with a low and long rear arch ensuring excellent combustion. The flue ducts on both sides and the sidewall bricks are made of refractory sintered bricks, while the front and rear walls use general refractory bricks. The boiler grate provides rational air distribution, and the large combustion chamber offers strong adaptability to various types of bituminous coal, anthracite, or blended coal, ensuring full combustion. Since high-temperature flue gas first enters the settling chamber before passing through the two flue ducts and the front smoke box, the boiler achieves effective smoke suppression and dust removal.
