Before tinning, perform a 3-minute weak corrosion in cleaning agent solution, immediately followed by a 2-minute neutralization in cleaning agent 2 solution, and then rinse with hot water. 2. The adhesion strength of tin to the bearing shell is better than that of Babbitt metal. Timing ensures a stronger bond for the Babbitt alloy. The timing materials used are tin or tin alloys, along with a flux. The flux removes surface oxides and grease, facilitating a firm bond.
