I. Product Performance:
PBTCA has low phosphorus content. Due to its structural characteristics of phosphonic and carboxylic acids, it exhibits excellent scale inhibition and corrosion inhibition properties, superior to commonly used organic phosphonic acids, especially in high-temperature scale inhibition performance, which far exceeds that of conventional organic phosphonic acids. It enhances zinc solubility, offers good resistance to chlorine oxidation, and demonstrates excellent compatibility in formulations. PBTCA effectively inhibits calcium carbonate and calcium phosphate scale formation and uniquely stabilizes zinc ions, allowing them to remain stable in circulating cooling water at pH 8.3. It remains stable even at pH 9.5, making zinc-containing alkaline operating formulations feasible. PBTCA also possesses high-temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, and chlorine stability, along with good dispersibility in circulating water with high turbidity and iron content.

III. Application Scope and Usage:
PBTCA is widely used in the formulation of high-efficiency scale and corrosion inhibitors and is one of the best-performing products. It is also an excellent stabilizer for zinc salts. PBTCA is extensively applied in circulating cooling water systems and oilfield water injection systems for corrosion and scale inhibition, particularly suitable for use in combination with zinc salts and copolymers. It can be used in high-temperature, high-hardness, high-alkalinity, and high-concentration ratio operating conditions. In the detergent industry, PBTCA serves as a chelating agent and metal cleaner.
PBTCA is typically used in combination with zinc salts, copolymers, organic phosphorus compounds, azoles, and other water treatment agents. If used alone, the dosage is 5~15 mg/L.
IV. Packaging and Storage
PBTCA is packaged in plastic drums, each containing 30 kg or 250 kg. Store in a cool, indoor place. Shelf life: twelve months.
V. Safety Precautions
PBTCA is acidic. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
