I. Product Properties
1227 is a cationic surfactant and a non-oxidizing biocide with broad-spectrum, high-efficiency bactericidal and algicidal capabilities. It effectively controls the growth of bacteria, algae, and slime in water, and has good dispersing, penetrating, and slime-stripping properties. It also possesses certain degreasing, deodorizing, and corrosion-inhibiting effects.
1227 is easily soluble in water, non-cumulative in toxicity, unaffected by water hardness, convenient to use, and stable in nature.

III. Uses and Methods
1227 is widely used in circulating cooling water systems in industries such as petroleum, chemical, power, and textile to control the growth of bacteria and algae. It is particularly effective in killing sulfate-reducing bacteria. 1227 can also serve as a bactericidal and antifungal agent, softener, antistatic agent, emulsifier, and conditioning agent in the textile printing and dyeing industry.
As a bactericidal and algicidal agent, the typical dosage of 1227 is 50-100 mg/L; as a slime-stripping agent, the dosage is 200-300 mg/L. If necessary, an appropriate amount of silicone-based defoamer can be added. 1227 can be used in combination with other biocides, such as isothiazolinones, glutaraldehyde, and methylene dithiocyanate, to achieve a synergistic effect, but it should not be used together with chlorophenol agents. After adding 1227, contaminants stripped from the circulating water should be filtered or removed promptly to avoid deposition after the foam disappears.
Do not mix 1227 with anionic surfactants.
IV. Packaging and Storage
1227 is packaged in plastic drums, 25 kg per drum, according to customer requirements. Store in a cool, ventilated indoor area with a shelf life of twelve months.
V. Safety and Protection
1227 has a slight almond-like odor and causes no significant irritation to the skin. In case of skin contact, rinse with water.
