DNPH Sampling Tube

A sampling tube for 14 types of aldehydes and ketones compliant with HJ683-2014 and HJ/T 400-2007 requirements.

The DNPH gas sample collection tube utilizes the specific reaction between the derivatizing agent DNPH (2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine) and the carbonyl groups in carbonyl compounds, with the resulting derivatives then separated chromatographically. This method is the most widely used and well-developed, offering high sensitivity and the ability to simultaneously detect a range of carbonyl compounds.

Product Description:

At least 14 types of aldehyde and ketone organic components can be detected, including formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, propionaldehyde, butyraldehyde, valeraldehyde, isovaleraldehyde, hexanal, benzaldehyde, ortho-, meta-, para-methylbenzaldehyde, 2,5-dimethylbenzaldehyde, butanone, pentanone, cyclohexanone, and acetophenone.

(1) Technical Indicators Average Background Value: ≤0.2μg (calculated as formaldehyde). Maximum Sampling Volume: >75μg (calculated as formaldehyde). Maximum Sampling Pressure: 0.15MPa. Spiked Recovery Rate: >90%.

(2) Storage Conditions: Store at low temperature (-10 to -20°C) protected from light. Shelf Life: 90 days. Use as soon as possible after opening.

We can also provide C18 chromatographic columns for the analysis of aldehyde-ketone-DNPH derivatives.
