Characteristics of Fire-resistant Rock Wool Sandwich Panels

1. High rigidity: Since the rock wool core material bonds with the two steel plates to form an integrated structure that works together, combined with the corrugated surface of the roof panel, the overall rigidity far exceeds that of on-site composite panels made of profiled sheets with rock wool (or fiberglass wool). After the sandwich panel is fixed to the purlins via connectors, the overall rigidity of the roof is enhanced, improving the roof's overall performance. Choosing rock wool sandwich panels allows for larger purlin spacing, thereby saving 1/3 to 2/3 of the purlin usage.

2. Reasonable snap-lock connection: The rock wool roof panels use a snap-lock connection method, which prevents water leakage at the panel joints and reduces the need for additional配件.

3. Secure and rational fixing method: Rock wool roof panels are fixed to purlins using self-tapping screws, effectively resisting external forces such as typhoons. The self-tapping screws are positioned at the crest of the panel's surface and feature a waterproof design to avoid creating weak points in waterproofing.

4. Short installation周期: Since rock wool sandwich panels require no on-site secondary processing, they not only maintain a clean surrounding environment and avoid interfering with other construction processes but also shorten the installation period. The average daily installation area of rock wool sandwich panels can reach 600–800 m2.

5. Scratch protection: During production, rock wool sandwich panels can have adhesive protective film applied to the surface to prevent scratches or wear to the steel plate's coating during transportation and installation.
