Product Description:NIKO Niko thermodynamic steam trap is a very robust and simple-operating steam trap. It works by utilizing the dynamic force generated when flash steam passes through the trap. As shown in the overview diagram, the only moving part is a disc located on the flat surface of the control chamber. During the startup phase, the disc is lifted by pressure, allowing condensate and air to pass over the inner valve seat and exit through three small holes under the disc. The thermodynamic steam trap contains a moving disc that acts as both the sensing element and the actuating component. Based on the different thermodynamic principles of steam and condensate flow velocity and volume changes, a pressure differential is created above and below the disc, driving the disc to open or close the valve. The steam leakage rate is 3%, and the subcooling degree is 8°C-15°C.
