Product Description: NIKO Niko Free Float Steam Trap can continuously discharge saturated condensate, preventing water accumulation in heating equipment, thereby achieving the highest thermal efficiency. It is unaffected by steam pressure changes; the float automatically adjusts the opening of the drain valve seat, ensuring continuous operation, stable performance, and good sealing. The stainless steel float in the Free Float series is manufactured using advanced grinding technology, offering high precision, excellent sealing performance, and effective air venting. The Y-series components automatically discharge non-condensable cold and hot gases, effectively preventing air locking and ensuring optimal heating efficiency. It has a long service life, as the entire spherical surface of the float can serve as a seal, with no concentrated wear during operation. It has low subcooling and allows a high backpressure rate. It can continuously discharge condensate with smooth water flow, performing particularly well in condensate recovery systems.
NIKO Niko Free Float Steam Trap Selection Criteria: Condensate load discharge capacity (kg/h)*2, maximum working pressure, working pressure difference, valve body material and nominal pressure, connection type and size. The selection factor for condensate load is generally between 2-3. The stainless steel float in the Free Float series is manufactured using advanced high-precision grinding technology. The automatic air vent device uses Y-series components that can discharge non-condensable hot gases; foreign brands also use Y-series components. The valve operates on the buoyancy principle: the float rises and falls with the water level based on the amount of condensate, automatically adjusting the opening of the valve seat to continuously discharge condensate. When condensate stops entering, the float descends by its own weight to the bottom, closing the drain valve seat. Since the drain valve seat is below the condensate water level, water and steam are naturally separated, forming a water seal and preventing steam leakage.
