JDC-2 Building Electronic Thermometer

I. Overview

The JDC-2 portable building electronic thermometer is a specialized temperature measurement instrument developed based on the construction characteristics of China's building industry and relevant technical specifications. It provides intuitive, accurate, and fast digital display of the measured temperature, with high reliability, wide application range, broad operating temperature environment, compact and lightweight design, simple operation, and portability, making it suitable for construction sites and field operations. It is mainly used in basic construction projects such as architecture, building materials, water conservancy, electric power, metallurgy, petrochemicals, ports, roads and bridges, and municipal engineering.

II. Scope of Application

This instrument is suitable for on-site temperature measurement in various construction projects. When used with a temperature probe, it can measure the temperature of materials and clinker, such as gases, liquids, fluids, mixtures, and granular materials. When used with embedded temperature sensors, it can measure the internal temperature of concrete during winter construction and mass concrete.

III. Instrument Composition and Functions

The main unit can be connected with a temperature probe or temperature sensor to form a temperature measurement system, which can be flexibly configured according to on-site needs and the number of measurement points.

1. Main Unit: The main unit is a portable device equipped with a power switch, illumination switch, socket, and LCD screen. It digitally displays the measured temperature and has a night measurement reading illumination function. To protect against dust, moisture, and impact, it uses a sealed film-type touch switch and a shoulder-strap instrument case. The stand on the back of the main unit can also be opened for desktop use.

2. Temperature Probe: The temperature probe consists of a plug, wire, handle, and a metal tube with an outer diameter of φ5mm × 220mm. A temperature sensor is encapsulated at the front end of the tube, making it suitable for measuring the temperature of materials and clinker.

3. Temperature Sensor: The embedded temperature sensor is made of a plug, wire, and temperature sensor, making it suitable for measuring the internal temperature of concrete. Each temperature sensor can measure the temperature at one point, and measurement points can be arbitrarily arranged during construction. To facilitate layered temperature measurement, each temperature sensor’s plug is labeled with the corresponding length specification.
