Introduction:
In the biological aerated filter process, to supply the oxygen required for microbial survival, ordinary biological filters typically feature ventilation holes at the lower part, relying on natural ventilation for oxygen supply. This often leads to uneven distribution of air pressure, resulting in short-circuiting and localized air blockage. Natural ventilation oxygen supply is constrained by the temperature difference between the tank and the ambient air, the height of the filter, the void space of the filter media, and wind conditions, preventing stable and uniform ventilation. The biological aerated filter addresses this by forcibly introducing air into the filter media layer, replacing natural ventilation, to fully provide sufficient and stable oxygen for the metabolic needs of microorganisms living on the biofilm-coated ceramic filter media, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency of the biological aerated filter.
Features:
Unaffected by the temperature difference between the tank and ambient air, not limited by the filter height or the porosity of the biofilm-coated ceramic filter media. Features small bubble diameter and wide bubble distribution range. The aerator outlet is designed with凹凸等分 (uneven divisions), making it resistant to clogging and不怕 (not afraid of) being compressed by the堆壓 (stacking pressure) of the biofilm-coated ceramic filter media.
Structure:
The air distribution pipes and branch pipes are made of ABS-UPVC plastic hard pipes, constructed from ABS. Comprises an upper pipe clamp, lower pipe clamp, single-orifice membrane, ABS固定調(diào)節(jié)支架 (fixed adjustment bracket), and other components.

Installation and Others:
1. In the biological aerated filter, first install the filter plate and the specialized filter head for biological aerated filters, then install the single-orifice membrane aerator. Next, pour in the pebble cushion layer (approximately 200m high), and finally add the biofilm-coated ceramic filter media. Avoid the pebble cushion layer damaging the aerator, and also prevent welding sparks and heavy or sharp objects from falling into the tank to avoid damaging the pipes and aerator.
2. Before installation, this product should not be heavily pressed or stored outdoors. Keep away from fire sources to prevent damage.
