1. Armor Rods

Preformed armor rods are used to protect conductors from vibration, clamp compression stress, friction, arcing, and other external damages. Preformed short armor rods can protect conductors from arcing, friction, or other damages on lines with shorter spans where vibration is not severe. They can also serve as repair rods to restore the original mechanical strength and conductivity of damaged conductors. Additionally, they are used to protect branch lines, preventing damage caused by arcing and friction at conductor branch points.

The structure of preformed armor rods and preformed short armor rods is simple: a set of preformed strands forms a hollow tube that generates a gripping force when wrapped around the conductor, thereby protecting it.

2. Repair Rods

Repair rods are used to protect conductors and ground wires from external damage, ensure that the damaged area does not expand, and restore the original mechanical strength and conductivity.

II. Splice Fittings: Preformed Splice

Used to connect both ends of a conductor, replacing conventional compression splice sleeves and compression joints.

Used to connect aluminum stranded wires, aluminum alloy stranded wires, steel-cored aluminum stranded wires, aluminum-clad steel stranded wires, and other conductors, restoring their original mechanical strength and conductivity.

2. Preformed Splice for Steel Strands

Used to connect steel strands, restoring their original mechanical strength.

Preformed splices can replace various shapes and structures of splice sleeves, parallel groove clamps, jumper clamps, and other connection fittings.
