The device mainly consists of four parts: the UPQC master unit, UPQC slave unit, series transformer, and composite bypass switch module (thyristor and contactor). The UPQC master unit is connected in parallel with the grid, allowing it to sample current and compensate for reactive power, harmonics, and imbalances. Additionally, the UPQC master unit connects to the slave unit via a DC bus, providing stable voltage to the slave unit.
