This equipment is used for type testing of the anti-slip performance of escalator and moving walk steps, pedal treads, comb support plates, and floor plate surfaces; it consists of a non-distorting 600mm wide by 2000mm long flat plate serving as a simulated inclined platform, with longitudinal slope adjustable between 0° and 45°. The inclined plane anti-slip tester is available in both imported and domestic options.
A servo motor drives the platform to rotate at a specified angular speed via a lead screw mechanism. Under the operator's control, the angle is gradually changed in 0.50° increments. Before testing, lubricant is applied to the test surface and the test shoe sole. The operator, wearing protective gear, maintains an upright posture and walks back and forth on the test platform in half-shoe steps along the observation direction. The test platform begins to tilt from the horizontal position at a rate of 1°/s. When the tilt angle reaches the critical point, tilting stops, and the angle value is recorded. This is repeated three times to ensure accuracy of the angle values.
