Application: Specifically designed for hardness testing of various products such as mobile phones, digital finished products, spray-coated items, tempered glass films, polyester films, etc. Examples include: mobile phone casings, MP3/MP4 casings, laptop casings, mobile phone cover glass, and other substrate spray-painted product casings for hardness testing.

The machine is electrically (semi-automatically) controlled. It utilizes a stepper motor for transmission to achieve forward and backward movement, resulting in low noise and high stability! The test stroke is adjustable according to specific requirements!

Test Description: The surface hardness of the coating film is tested by scratching the coating surface with a hardness pencil. The hardness pencil is fixed at a45°angle, ensuring the pencil tip contacts the coating surface. An appropriate load is applied, and the test platform moves at a constant speed(JISstandard0.5mm/second)so that the coating surface moves past the pencil tip. The softest pencil grade that does not cause damage(scratch)is considered the hardness of the coating film.
