The alumina hollow sphere castable is characterized by a high load softening temperature, high strength, and excellent thermal insulation performance, with a typical service temperature range of 1600°C to 1700°C. It is an ideal thermal insulation material for carbon black reaction furnaces and high-temperature special linings. Alumina hollow spheres are a new type of high-temperature insulation material, produced by melting and blowing industrial alumina in an electric furnace, with a crystal structure of α-Al2O3 microcrystals. Using alumina hollow spheres as the main component, various shaped products can be manufactured, with a maximum service temperature of 1800°C. These products exhibit high mechanical strength, several times that of general lightweight products, while the bulk density is only half that of corundum products. They are widely used in high-temperature kilns such as petrochemical industry gasifiers, carbon black industry reaction furnaces, and metallurgical industry induction furnaces, achieving highly satisfactory energy-saving effects. 　　 

Alumina hollow sphere castables and their products are high-temperature resistant, energy-efficient lightweight refractory materials that remain stable in various atmospheres. They are particularly suitable for applications in high-temperature kilns up to 1800°C. Hollow spheres can be used as high-temperature and high-temperature insulation fillers, lightweight aggregates for high-temperature refractory concrete, and high-temperature castables. Hollow sphere bricks are suitable for high-temperature energy-saving (＞30%) downdraft kilns, shuttle kilns, molybdenum wire furnaces, tungsten rod furnaces, induction furnaces, and nitriding furnaces.
