1 Overview
1.1 Scope of Application
The PST 641UX Transformer Differential Protection Device provides percentage differential protection with second harmonic restraint and differential quick-break protection, suitable for transformers in power systems with voltage levels of 66kV and below.
1.2 Protection Function Configuration
a) Differential quick-break protection;
b) Percentage differential protection;
c) TA disconnection detection;
d) Non-electrical protection (signal recording).
1.3 Measurement and Control Function Configuration
a) 20 external switch inputs for remote signal collection;
b) Fault remote signaling;
c) GPS time synchronization input.

1 Line Protection and Control Device
PSL 641UX Line Protection and Control Device, with overcurrent protection as the main protection, suitable for the protection and control of transmission or distribution lines.
2 Transformer Protection and Control Device
a) PST 641U Transformer Differential Protection Device, suitable for transformers with a capacity of 6.3MVA and above or important transformers in industrial enterprises;
b) PST 642U Transformer Protection and Control Device, suitable for backup protection of transformers with a capacity of 6.3MVA and above or important transformers in industrial enterprises;
c) PST 645UX Transformer Protection and Control Device, with overcurrent protection as the main protection, suitable for station service/grounding transformers/plant transformers.
3 Capacitor Protection and Control Device
PSC 641UX Capacitor Protection and Control Device, suitable for the protection and control of shunt capacitor banks in substations, configured with differential voltage (or differential current) and unbalanced voltage (or current) inputs.
4 Reactor Protection and Control Device
PST 648U Reactor Protection and Control Device, suitable for the protection and control of series and shunt reactors with voltage levels of 35kV and below.
5 Automatic Transfer Switch Device
641UX Automatic Transfer Switch Device, featuring 7 typical wiring modes for automatic transfer, suitable for various wiring modes of backup power automatic transfer at different voltage levels.
Motor Protection and Control Device
a) PSM 641UX Motor Protection and Control Device, including differential function, suitable for the protection of large asynchronous or synchronous motors with a capacity of 2MW and above;
b) PSM 642UX Motor Protection and Control Device, without differential function, suitable for the protection of 3~10kV asynchronous motors.
