The air then returns via ducts to the unit for re-cooling and recycling. Within a certain period, the grain temperature drops to the preservation level.

During summer and autumn, high external temperatures raise the surface space temperature, affecting the grain. The surface temperature control unit primarily cools the upper grain surface space, maintaining the internal temperature below 18°C to ensure the grain pile remains at an average low temperature. The unit requires air supply and return ducts to extract air from the storage, cycle it through the unit for cooling, and effectively control the temperature and humidity inside.
