Introduction
HDPE steel skeleton pipe is a new type of modified steel skeleton plastic composite pipe, also known as srtp pipe. It is made of high-strength plastic-coated steel wire mesh and thermoplastic polyethylene as raw materials. The steel wire mesh serves as the skeleton reinforcement of the polyethylene plastic pipe, with high-density polyethylene as the matrix. High-performance HDPE modified adhesive resin tightly bonds the steel wire skeleton with the inner and outer layers of high-density polyethylene, providing excellent composite effects and combining the advantages of both steel pipes and plastic pipes.
HDPE steel wire mesh skeleton plastic composite pipe is made of high-strength steel wire and polyethylene plastic. The core layer consists of high-strength steel wire formed by winding, while the inner and outer layers are made of high-density polyethylene plastic, creating a new type of composite structural wall pipe. The addition of steel wire reinforcement mesh not only significantly improves the pressure resistance compared to HDPE solid-wall pipes but also retains the excellent corrosion resistance and scale-free characteristics of HDPE solid-wall pipes. The reinforcement is encapsulated within continuous thermoplastic plastic, ensuring the isolation of the steel wire from the external environment, prolonging the service life of the steel wire, and maintaining long-term pressure resistance. The winding formation of the steel wire mesh ensures low linear expansion coefficient while providing certain axial flexibility and strong environmental adaptability. The pipe is widely used in water supply and gas supply fields, making it a new and practical pipe material.
