Usage Description

MPS101 Reverse Osmosis Flocculant is a water-soluble inorganic electrolyte, with the main active component being high-iron compounds. It is an efficient water purification agent in water treatment processes, offering significant effects in precipitating heavy metals and sulfides, decolorization, deodorization, oil removal, sterilization, phosphorus removal, and reducing effluent COD and BOD. It can be used with reverse osmosis membranes and TFC membranes from Dow Chemical (Filmtec), Hydranautics, as well as domestic nanofiltration membrane elements.

Usage Requirements

Dosage:

When using MPS101 Reverse Osmosis Flocculant, it is recommended to prepare a 10-20% aqueous solution, preferably using reverse osmosis effluent or demineralized water.

When used alone, the dosage is 30-50 mg/L. When used in combination with other organic coagulants, the dosage is 10-20 mg/L. The appropriate dosage can be determined through jar tests based on actual site conditions.

Dosing Point:

Generally selected before the multi-media filter, directly dosed by a metering pump, or mixed thoroughly with the raw water via the feed pump suction.
