The SHGC inclined tube sedimentation tank is an efficient combined sedimentation tank designed based on the shallow tank sedimentation theory; it is also collectively referred to as a shallow tank sedimentation tank. In the sedimentation zone, numerous densely arranged inclined tubes or plates are installed, allowing suspended impurities in the water to settle within the inclined plates or tubes. The water flows upward along the inclined plates or tubes, while the separated sludge slides downward under gravity along the inclined plates (or tubes) to the bottom of the tank, where it is collected and discharged. This type of tank can improve sedimentation efficiency by 50–60% and increase processing capacity by 3–5 times within the same area. Inclined tube sedimentation tanks can be designed for different flow rates based on experimental data from the raw wastewater, and coagulants are generally added during use. The inclined tube water purification method involves installing inclined tube modules at a 60-degree angle above the sludge suspension layer. This allows the flocculated礬花 formed by suspended solids and particulate matter in the raw water after coagulant addition to accumulate into a thin sludge layer on the bottom surface of the inclined tubes. The sludge then slides back into the sludge suspension layer under gravity and settles into the sludge collection hopper. It is discharged through the sludge discharge pipe into a sludge tank for further treatment or comprehensive utilization. The clarified water gradually rises to the collection pipe and is discharged, either for direct release or reuse.
