TM Series Damper Actuators

Product Overview

The TM series damper actuators feature bidirectional control, providing torque from 4 to 32 N.m. They can be directly installed on dampers, ventilation louvers, and other devices to achieve on/off or proportional control via 0–10 VDC or 4–20 mA signals, while also offering 0–10 VDC position feedback. They are widely used in ventilation, air conditioning, and other building automation air path systems.

The actuator uses a bidirectional hysteresis synchronous motor with overload protection. No limit switches are required—when reaching the endpoint, the motor disengages and the actuator stops automatically. It includes an adjustable high-precision mechanical stop. Optional auxiliary switches and position feedback switches are available.

Manual Function

Manual operation is performed using the black button on the side of the actuator. Push down the manual lever to disengage the actuator from the gear drive. While holding the lever, manual adjustment of the damper can be performed. Do not operate under power.

Easy Installation

The 4–6 N.m actuators are installed via square shaft connection, compatible with square damper shafts. Round shaft sizes range from a minimum of 6 mm to 16 mm; square shaft sizes range from a minimum of 8 mm to a maximum of 12 mm. The 8–32 N.m actuators are fixed to the damper shaft using a universal clamp (custom actuator mounting brackets are available upon request). Recommended range: round shafts from 10 mm to 20 mm; square shafts from 10 mm to 16 mm.

Direction 1: Actuator rotates counterclockwise as the signal increases.

Direction 0: Actuator rotates clockwise as the signal increases.

Note: Factory default is Direction 0—actuator rotates clockwise as the signal increases.
