Fire Lane Markings

(1) Yellow no-parking markings shall be applied on the vertical and top surfaces of the curb along the side of the fire lane.
(2) For roads without curbs, no-parking markings shall be applied on the road surface. The markings shall be a yellow solid line, 30 cm from the road edge, with a line width of 15 cm.
(3) Along the fire lane, yellow box lines shall be painted in the center of the road every 20 meters (without overlapping with the markings for fire truck aerial operation areas). Inside the box, the warning text "Fire Lane - No Occupancy" shall be marked in the direction of travel. The yellow box lines shall be no smaller than 2m × 1.5m (if conditions restrict and visibility requirements cannot be met, the sign size shall be increased in a 4:3 ratio).

(4) At the entrance and exit of the fire lane in residential or commercial areas, no-parking markings shall be applied according to the clear width of the fire lane. The markings shall be yellow grid solid lines, with an outer border line width of 20 cm and an internal grid line width of 10 cm. The internal grid lines shall form a 45-degree angle with the outer border. In the center of the markings, the warning text "Fire Lane - No Occupancy" shall be marked in the direction of travel. The no-parking markings shall be no smaller than 2m × 1.5m (if conditions restrict and visibility requirements cannot be met, the sign size shall be increased in a 4:3 ratio).

(5) Prominent warning signs shall be installed on both sides of the fire lane, indicating that occupying the fire lane is strictly prohibited and violators will bear corresponding legal responsibilities. The warning signs shall be no smaller than 1m × 0.6m (if conditions restrict and visibility requirements cannot be met, the sign size shall be increased in a 5:3 ratio), with the bottom edge at a height of no less than 1.6m above the ground.
