Applications:

1. Refractory Materials

Nano zirconium dioxide is a type of refractory material. Due to its high melting point and oxidation resistance, ZrO2 offers higher service temperatures compared to alumina, mullite, and aluminum silicate.

2. Ceramic Toughening Agent

Adding nano zirconium dioxide to ordinary zirconia ceramics can toughen the ceramics, prevent cracking, lower the sintering temperature, and improve durability. 

3. Hardness and Wear-Resistant Additive for Coatings and Resins

Nano zirconia (ZrO2) exhibits properties such as high-temperature resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, wear resistance, high thermal expansion coefficient, and low thermal capacity and conductivity (<2), making it an excellent thermal insulation material. 5nm zirconia dispersions offer good transparency and are widely used in wear-resistant coatings and resins.

4. Lithium Battery Material Additive

Doping nano zirconium dioxide into lithium battery cathode materials can improve cycle performance, rate capability, and extend battery life.

5. Catalyst Support

Nano zirconium dioxide is a metal oxide with acidic, basic, oxidizing, and reducing properties, giving it significant scientific value and application prospects in catalysis.  

6. Optical Glass Additive, Ceramic Coatings, Non-Stick Pan Coatings.

7. Anti-Reflective Coating for Solar Cells

Nano zirconium dioxide UG-R30 has good dispersibility and can be applied to solar cell glass surfaces to form anti-reflective coatings. 

8. Soft Magnetic Composite Materials

Nano zirconium dioxide ZrO2 is used for coating soft magnetic materials (such as Al-Mn-Ce alloys), enabling both high resistivity and high magnetic permeability. As a coating material, nano ZrO2 can block eddy current paths between ferromagnetic particles and effectively couple magnetic fields.

9. Polishing

Nano zirconium dioxide is also used as a polishing powder for metal, optical, and glass polishing.
