Fully Automatic Oxygen Index Tester

The Fully Automatic Oxygen Index Tester is a new product developed in accordance with the technical requirements specified in ISO 4589 and the national standards "GB/T 2406.2-2009 Plastics—Determination of burning behavior by oxygen index—Part 2: Ambient-temperature test" and "GB/T 5454-1997 Textiles—Burning behavior—Oxygen index method." The Fully Automatic Oxygen Index Tester is used to determine the volume percentage of oxygen required during the combustion of polymers.

Fully Automatic Touch Screen Controlled Oxygen Index Tester

I. Product Features

1. Full-color touch screen control; simply set the oxygen concentration value on the touch screen, and the program will automatically adjust to oxygen concentration balance and emit a beep sound, eliminating the need for manual adjustment of oxygen concentration.

2. The use of a stepper proportional valve greatly improves flow control accuracy. Closed-loop control ensures that during testing, any drift in oxygen concentration is automatically adjusted back to the target value, overcoming the drawback of traditional oxygen index testers that cannot adjust oxygen concentration during testing, thereby significantly improving testing accuracy.

27. Propane (butane) ignition system; the ignition nozzle is made of a metal tube with a nozzle at the end with an inner diameter of Φ2±1mm, which can be freely bent. It can be inserted into the combustion cylinder to ignite the sample. Flame length: 16±4mm, size adjustable from 5mm to 60mm.

Tips: For oxygen index tester testing, one bottle each of industrial-grade oxygen and nitrogen with a purity of not less than 98% is required as the gas source. Since these gases are high-risk transport items, they cannot be provided as accessories for the oxygen index tester and must be purchased from local gas stations. (To ensure gas purity, please purchase from a reputable local gas station.)
