2. Requirements for Matching Wire Rope Clips with Wire Ropes

When the wire rope diameter d < 36mm, the inner diameter of the clip should be 0–2mm larger than the wire rope diameter. When the wire rope diameter d ≥ 36mm, the inner diameter of the clip should be 0–4mm larger than the wire rope diameter. If the clip is too large, it may not securely fasten the rope.

3. Arrangement and Spacing Requirements for Wire Rope Clips

Wire rope clips should not be arranged alternately on the wire rope. Instead, the longer rope should press against the shorter rope, meaning the longer rope should be placed on the side of the pressure plate. The distance A between clips should be equal to 6–7 times the wire rope diameter.
