1. Measurement Principle
The TK-LW liquid ammonia level gauge is an intelligent externally mounted ultrasonic level gauge developed and produced by Tuke Electronics. It operates on the principle of sonar (ultrasonic) echo ranging. The measurement probe transmits and receives ultrasonic signals, which penetrate the container wall and form echoes in the liquid to achieve distance measurement. The side (or lower oblique) probe serves as the calibration probe, continuously or periodically emitting calibration sound waves to achieve sound velocity calibration, ensuring high-precision and stable measurement. The signal can be remotely transmitted to the control room for automated control.
